So I read a story about The Muppets that interested me. A FOX News anchor is saying that the movie is liberal propaganda to brainwash our children into a state of class-warfare as the villain is an evil oil tycoon (here is the link).
No don't get me wrong. I think that the addition of an evil oil tycoon is kind of telling in this day and age but are business tycoons a new thing to the villain world? I mean James Bond was fighting evil companies before the Muppets even appeared on screen. The rich and powerful have always been portrayed as the villain, Wall Street was about an evil broker on Wall Street. Was that some sort of prophecy agenda by the liberal left to brainwash the 30-somethings of today into hating big banks? What about Shakespeare? In Hamlet the bad guy is the king. Was that a liberal agenda to have people oppose the king?
I mean now that I look at it everything has a propaganda slant to it. Die Hard is propaganda against terrorists, as well as 24. The Princess Bride and Robin Hood are oppositions to the authority of law. Hell Star Wars is all about traitors to the rightful government rebelling and killing the ruler of the galaxy. I mean this has to be stopped. This propaganda machine must be pulled over and written a citation, illegal use of movie tropes to tell a good story.
No longer will we sit idly by and allow Hollywood to brainwash our children. The buck stops here my friends and only we can stop it. Toy Story is a piece of Hoarder propaganda and how it is good for you. Monsters, Inc. is all about making children laugh instead of being scared. I mean what world would allow their children to laugh. Not my world. This is unacceptable folks and I am disgusted that it has gone on so long.
We must stand up and not allow this any longer. Fight with me everyone. The evil movie corporations will never live to see the lights of another movie screen. Tonight we dine in Hollywood.

PS if you think about it almost any movie could be spun to be some sort of propaganda from some sort of organization.

The Shawshank Redemption - Prisoner Propaganda
Pulp Fiction - Drug Propaganda
Fight Club - Anarchist Propaganda (do anarchist have propaganda?)
Se7en - Catholic Propaganda
The list goes on and on and on people. There is no liberal propaganda in a Muppets movie. If there is it has nothing to do with the evil oil tycoon.
